About Dr. Camp

Mary "Molly" Camp, MD is a nationally recognized, board-certified geriatric psychiatrist, specializing in mental health care for older adults and those with cognitive concerns. As a faculty member at the University of Texas Southwestern from 2012-2026, she received numerous awards for clinical care and education, published scholarly articles and book chapters on geriatric mental health and medical education, and she achieved the rank of Professor of Psychiatry.

In 2026, Dr. Camp decided to transition into her own clinical practice. Her collaborative treatment approach focuses on the whole person, their environment, support system, and communication among providers. Dr. Camp aims to help patients improve quality of life and engagement in meaningful activities at all stages of life.

Location

We are located in the Lakewood Tower in the Lakewood Shopping Center.

Appointment Types

Initial Consultation

75 minute visit, records review, collaboration with other treating providers, and development of a personalized care plan. Family members are invited to participate with the patient's permission.

Follow-Up Visits

30-minute visit for medication management and supportive psychotherapy, with a focus on progress toward treatment goals.

Longer follow-up visits with additional time for psychotherapy may be arranged based on treatment goals and preferences.

Patients who have seen Dr. Camp in another practice setting within the past year may schedule a follow-up visit.

Fees and payment

Insurance

Camp Psychiatry is a private-pay practice and does not accept any insurance, including Medicare. Dr. Camp has opted out of Medicare, and services cannot be submitted to Medicare for reimbursement. Commercially insured patients may request documentation for possible out-of-network reimbursement.

Fees

Follow-Up Visit (30 minutes): $250

Extended Follow-Up Visit (45 minutes): $375
Initial Consultation (75 minutes): $500

Medication, labwork, or other testing would be covered according to your insurance plan.
